About me

Hello there! I'm Jonas Augusto Kunzler. I was born in Itajaí, Santa Catarina, on June 27th, 1989. Shortly after my birth, my family moved to Goiânia, Goiás, where I grew up and spent most of my life. Despite moving away from the South of Brazil, I still enjoy drinking my mate tea.

Human relationships are the most important aspect of my life; I love meeting new people and making new friends. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is deeply committed to healing relationships. I'm married, have three children and we are blessed with many wonderful people surrounding us. Adoption has always been a significant part of my life. As a child, I would often rescue homeless animals and bring them home to care for them. My wife and I discussed adopting children even before we were married. When my wife was still my fiancée, we used to talk about adopting children. As a lecturer, I aim to influence people toward thoughtful reasoning and positive actions. I encourage my students to consider the impact of their actions and how they can influence the world. God blessed us with three wonderful children through adoption, and we are extremely happy together.

Professionally, I am a Brazilian researcher in the field of Applied Mathematics. I currently work at the EMC/UFG Telecommunications Laboratory and participate in a research group focused on 6th Generation Mobile Communications Technology. Our main topics of research are Signal Processing and Machine Learning.

I am also a lecturer at Faculdade da Polícia Militar, where I give lectures in the areas of Mathematics, Computer Science and related disciplines. I'm passionate about technology and I'm always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. Web development is one of my hobbies and I'm always looking for new projects to work on. The DIY philosophy is my motto; I continually improve my skills and knowledge in software and hardware through projects using Arduino, ESP-32 and Raspberry Pi.

In this portfolio you can see some of my projects and know a little more about me.
Suit yourself and thank you for visiting my page! 😆
